.....about us

We take pride in our history and are able to stake claim to two things that few other firms can.  Firstly that the former Prime Minister, David Lloyd George, was trained by the firm.  Secondly and more importantly the company has been serving the local community for over 175 years!  Breese Gwyndaf was formed after the  amalgamation in 1991 of two firms Breese Jones & Casson (established in 1844) and Gwyndaf Williams & Roberts (established in 1932).  The firm has grown steadily in the past few years acquiring David Hughes & Bryan, based in Barmouth and Roberts & Robyns in Pwllheli.

Our offices are situated on the high street or one of the main streets of the towns where we are located. Breese Gwyndaf has extensive experience of carrying out the typical high street practice work.  Even so, we regularly undertake work of a more ‘heavyweight’ nature including construction disputes for either the customer or developer, property litigation/disputes such as those involving rights of way / trespass / encroachment and commercial property transactions whether it is freehold or leasehold.  We have also been involved in actions / transactions relating to businesses within mineral water, gold mine, slate mine and airport industry.
